This world is like a crop for eternal world whatever we do over here, similar would be the result in the eternal world.
Time is most precious thing which Allah (S.W.T) has awarded to mankind. It is such a thing that once it passes away, it never comes back. The time given to a man between his birth and death is extremely short that is why it is must for everyone to take best benefit out of it and should try to spend more and more time in pious deeds and should try not to waste time in useless preoccupations as, he would be questioned about it on the Day of Judgment.
In which deeds you led your life? Thus, it is necessary to take maximum benefit of the time given by almighty Allah and to spend more and more time in obedience and prayer to Allah as he would reap the benefits in the eternal world. It has been said “this world is like a crop for eternal world” whatever one will do over here, will be rewarded accordingly in the eternal world. A scholar says that time is like a garden and there are many green trees in it. We must fill the branches with pious deeds and beneficial actions and this has been proven that a person who wastes time, time wastes him and he suffers loss in both the worlds. Allah S.W.T in his holy book Quran has expressed the importance of time and has warned us of laziness and waste of time and has also told us that the time which you have been given is not for useless acts. As it is stated in Surah Mominoon “do you think we have created you in vain? You will be returned to your lord! Besides this, king of both the worlds Prophet Muhammad PBUH has also stressed on avoiding wastage of time and has said: you should care about 5 things and think better of them before 5 things: your youth before old age, health before sickness, wealth before poverty and free time before occupation and life before death.
